Antique blue velvet picture frame with bubble glass and cabinet card Early Century 1900's.
Condition is sturdy and useable with blemishes. The velvet is very worn and loss of paint on back side. The cabinet card is recessed and trimmed with gathered teal blue silk that looks good with minor signs of age. The bubble glass is in good condition without chips or cracks. There is some writing on the back of the photo, but it is difficult to read. The carved wood arch on the front of frame has lost the teal blue silk covering with a few silk threads still attached. Thick cardboard easel stand works very good.
The frame measures 19 inches x 8 inches: 25.4 cm x 20.32 cm. The opening measures 5 inches tall x 3.5 inches wide: 12.7 cm x 8.89 cm.
