This is 100% suri fiber from my herd, core spun around a thin cotton core by Aroostook FiberWorks. Half of the fiber was dyed using Dharma acid dye; the other half was left a natural white. The two colors were blended together at the mill to create this lovely heathered purple. If washing your project is necessary, we strongly recommend using cool water - very warm or hot water may cause some bleeding with this type of dye. Washed projects should not be heat dried, as this yarn will shrink.
Each bump measures approximately 100 yards, and is ready for your creativity! Make rugs on peg or other looms, try some arm weaving, use extra large hooks or needles and the sky's the limit. This is a very heavy, lustrous yarn made from grades 4-6 fiber.
When they're gone, they're gone - until next shearing!
