NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN ITEM FOR SALE. THIS IS JUST A GUIDE
Before Purchasing your vintage item, PLEASE look at this chart for help on where to measure yourself. I measure each garment based on this illustration. Check below for further details on how to measure. A flexible tape measure is the easiest and best way to measure but a ruler and string will also work.
WAIST: The area of your mid-section where the top of the pant will sit. Measure the RISE first to find out where the waist measurement will sit. For instance if the rise is 11 inches, start from your crotch seam and measure up until you hit 11 inches. At that point measure around your mid-section.
RISE: As stated above, start from the crotch seam and measure up. That is where the top of the pant will sit.
HIPS: The widest part of the hips.
THIGH: The circumference of the widest part of the thigh area.
INSEAM: From the crotch seam to the bottom of the pant cuff/opening.
CUFF: the circumference of the bottom of the pant leg. This will let you know how fitted the cuff will be(i.e. skinny, wide leg, boot cut, etc).
