Item details

This knitting pattern is for a quick, cute, textured pair of fingerless gloves that will keep your hands and wrists warm but your fingers free, whether it's in a chilly office or at an ever-so-slightly nippy spring picnic.

This listing is for the knitting pattern only, in PDF format. It will be available to you as soon as you make your purchase, using the power of Etsy's shiny new digital downloads system! (After your purchase, you should immediately receive a link to your Downloads page, and the file should also always be accessible through your Purchases page.)

The 6-page pattern includes simple charts, using knit and purl stitches only — relatively easy stuff! (One test-knitter said the pattern would make a good introduction to charts.) Written directions are also included, for knitters who prefer words to charts.

The fingerless gloves are knit in the round from the patterned cuff to the finger-edge, with an option for a rolled-edge cuff edging. The body of the fingerless gloves has a raised diamond pattern formed by purl stitches on a field of stockinette stitch.

File delivery
Your files will be available to download once payment is confirmed. Here's how.

We take all kinds of treasures, including Paypal, money orders, and personal checks. (If you pay by personal check, your item will be held for shipping until the check clears — a scalawag’s got to watch his coffers, after all.)

Returns & exchanges

All repair, return and exchange packages must be shipped back to us with tracking numbers — 'cause everyone's safer that way, me hearties. ;)

If a piece of jewelry or shawl pin breaks in normal use, ship it back to us at your cost, and we'll fix it for free and send it back to you at our cost — pirates' honor! Do send us a message before shipping the item back to us, letting us know what happened to the item and what we need to fix. When shipping items back to us for repair, please package them securely, with padding, and with a tracking number.

If you'd like to exchange an item for an item of equal value, send us a message to let us know when you purchased the original item(s), what you're returning, and what you'd like to exchange the item(s) for. Package up the item(s) securely and with padding, if necessary, and don't forget to include a tracking number.

If you'd like to return something, send us a message to let us know what you're returning, when you bought it, and why you're sending it back. Then package it up securely (in the original packaging or something else that protects it from damage) and ship it back to us with a tracking number. As long as the item returns here in the
same condition we sent it in, we'll issue a full refund of the item price plus the original cost of shipping (but not the cost of shipping it back to us).

Additional policies

We love custom orders! Convo us with ideas, questions, inspiration, for price quotes, etc. Custom orders require a 50% down payment to help us buy materials, with the rest payable when purchasing from the item's listing.
