Item details

A gorgeously carded 1 ounce batt of 100% Border Leicester Sheep Wool in Natural White.

This nice and fluffy batt is super easy to spin and takes dye beautifully. It makes a great batt for beginners, blending, felting, or even as a natural alternative to poly-fil for amigurumi or other projects. This batt has been hand washed, handpicked and drum carded.

Are you looking for more than 1 ounce of fiber? Let me know, I am happy to wash, pick, and card up some more for you!

All of my batts begin as raw fiber. They are hand skirted and picked. They are immersion washed using dish soap and immersion rinsed. They are allowed to rest for two days inside my home to dry. They are then carded through a fine toothed drum carder at least twice to ensure that they are as smooth as possible.
