This tutorial describes how to make a round beaded bead using two-hole lentils, triangles or superduos and with a large bead as an internal support. The finished beaded bead is about 1.25 inches (31 mm). The beaded bead may be used as a pendant or several may be strung for a necklace. Instructions for stringing are included.

The name of this beaded bead was inspired by a type of gypsum crystal known as a Desert Rose found in the Sahara Desert.
