Item details

Yellow, 100% Baby Alpaca Yarn, 220 yards / 3.5 ounces / 100 grams, 3 ply, Sport Weight

I dyed this lovely, soft yarn using Jacquard's Yellow Sun dye.

If I were to knit this up, I would probably use a US # 4 or 5 needle. I don't crochet but would recommend a E-4 or F-5 hook. I had to look this up so am not positive.

Because this is 100% Alpaca yarn, I highly recommend it for shawls and scarves. Because it doesn't have as much recovery as wool and might stretch out, I usually add ribbing and/or cables to projects that I want to bounce back like hats and mittens.

Most buyers purchase from my shop using PayPal or Etsy's Direct Check. These are easiest for me. But if you rather send a check or money order, that's fine too.
Fiber folks must be conscientious and dependable because I have never had a bad transaction. If you need time to pay or have to cancel a purchase, just let me know. I'm naievely trusting and trustworthy.

If you aren't happy, let me know. I will do an exchange or give your money back, or whatever it takes to have a happy customer. Buying fiber is hard from a picture. Ideally, you need to feel, caress, and, yes, even smell it.
