Please note - this is a PDF pattern, not a finished item. You have heard that hand woven kitchen cloths are superior, now it's time to find out! These soft, absorbent and gorgeous cloths will look great in your kitchen and perform beautifully as well.
The pattern is for weaving on a rigid heddle loom at least 9 inches. You will also need a 10 dent reed, a stick shuttle and a pick up stick approximately 2 inches longer than the project.
This pattern is suitable for beginners but I do recommend you have at least one easy project under your belt before attempting this. Beginners will find it challenging and fun, and the more experienced will find it fun. The pattern also assumes that you are familiar with warping and weaving on a rigid heddle loom.
Woven with 10ply cotton, which is readily available online or at weaving or knitting supply stores.
A sewing machine is needed. A serger is handy but not essential.
The printable PDF file is 12 pages long and includes instructions and lots of colour photos to ensure your success.
I also have two Youtube channels with many free or low cost videos to help you on your weaving journey. Links are included in the pattern.
