Vintage Pfaff 60 straight stitch sewing machine/manual. Made in USA. Comes with the items shown in the last picture. Attachments with metal box marked Pfaff, 2 screwdrivers-1 marked Pfaff, few Pfaff needles plus a few others, some bobbins, 2 tape measures-1 marked Pfaff, 2 pair of scissors, Oiler can marked Pfaff (it's in the peanut butter jar), Original Pfaff guarantee paper.
Metal body, original manual, working light, uses a belt, working foot control.
This is not a stand-alone machine. Needs to be mounted in a cabinet or raised off the table so the mechanism under the machine does not hit the table while being used.
The base measures approximately 14-3/4" x 7" and is 11" tall.
Runs quietly and smoothly. I've shown sewing I did with 2 layers of cotton,4 layers of cotton, 4 layers of denim, and 3 layers of heavy furniture leather. Has a built in needle threader. As with most needle threaders, the threader didn't gibe up with the needle hole. So I threaded it manually--threads from left to right. Stitch length lever seems to be a little different than most. After selecting your stitch length, you then must turn the stitch regulating lever to the right to set the length. Regulating lever is also the reverse lever. Manual is missing pages 21 thru 24 where this feature is described. I went online and read about it where lots of manuals are PDF available.
