Quilt a small Flowers in Bloom Appliqué wall hanging to add fun and whimsy to any wall. The whimsical flower plants are formed by dimensional applique and regular appliqué. The stems are created with regular appliqué using fusible web. This wall hanging is small and will fit in a small space such as a hall, between windows or doors or in a corner. Use bright colors to perk up a dark area that will put a garden in your home decorating.
The size is 10" wide x 26" high. You can be easily adjust the size to make a larger wall hanging or quilt by adding blocks and/or rows. The unfinished blocks are 6" x 7".
This pattern makes a great scrap quilt. You can use your scraps or precut fabric charns, jelly rolls or fat quarters with this pattern for the applique pieces as well as border and sashings and base blocks.
The dimensional applique technique is easy and adds dimension to your quilt as well as give you a quilt that is unique.
