FAQs

Sewing patterns are fairly easy to copy, if one wished to do so. I cannot offer returns or exchanges at this time. I try my best to convey the condition of the patterns that I am selling. If you have any questions about the condition of the pattern, sizing/measurements, or anything else about the pattern, please contact me BEFORE purchasing. I strongly urge anyone interested in purchasing to read the item description before buying.

I buy patterns as is from individuals, mainly in the Midwest. I cannot guarantee the conditions that they have been kept in prior to acquiring them. Some patterns may have a musty smell from being stored in basements, farmhouses, attics, etc. I mostly list patterns that are complete. If a pattern is missing something (pattern pieces, directions, or an envelope) and is just too neat not to list, I will include in the description what is missing and adjust prices accordingly.

If you order multiple patterns, I will combine shipping if possible and refund any overages.

I strongly urge anyone interested in one of my patterns to measure themselves before purchasing. Pattern sizes are very different than ready to wear clothing, and even from decade to decade or company to company there can be variations on how patterns are sized. Vintage patterns are also typically smaller than modern patterns. I provide a sizing chart picture with most of my listings to compare to your measurements. If you are unsure of where to start as far as getting accurate measurements, here is a link to a great blog post about measurement taking for sewing: https://tinyurl.com/y7mr68ho Links to other posts about measuring men and children can be found at the end of the blog post under "Related".

Typically, I buy patterns in lots from individuals. Many times these patterns are usually all the same size. If you look through my stock, you will see that I have many Women's Size 10 patterns.
