These cotton American Double T quilt blocks or squares are all hand pieced and hand stitched. These quilt blocks are made with fabrics from the 1930/40's.
There are 31 finished blocks, perfect for pillows, framing, many projects.
Each square measures approx. 9-3/4" x 9-3/4" square, size varies slightly. They lay flat and do not pucker. There are hand done stitching, throughout at 9 to 10 stitches to the inch, and being skillfully stitched.
Most in almost excellent condition, but there are a few with slight age/storage discoloration on edges from years of non use, consistent with age and rare use and decades of storage. With a careful soaking these discolorations will disappear. I did not launder them, they are as found.
Wonderful vintage fabric and pattern to make into a new treasure from the past.
The pieces are well preserved and worthy of collecting, displaying or turning into inspiration.
We are happy to answer any questions about this item.
The items I sell are antique or vintage textiles. They are not new and not flawless. If you expect perfection, antique or vintage is NOT for you. The items I sell have been used and loved or stored away for decades. Textiles stored away for decades ALWAYS pick up small oxidation storage spots. Unless stated in description, I have not cleaned the textile unless stated and will be up to the buyer to refresh.
Our merchandise is collectible and is not new and has lived a long and eventful life. We do not launder or dryclean unless stated in listing, and most times have been in storage for many years picking up old age storage oxidation spots. We expect the winning bidder to be prepared to clean or launder items even if item has never been worn or used.
Remember antique fabrics most always has some sort of flaw from being around so many years. Every effort has been made to describe our items as accurately as possible including flaws and imperfections to the best of our ability. We mention any marks or stains that are noticed, in the listing. We try to observe and report every defect that we are aware of to the best of our abilities, to give the buyer an accurate description but to mention every single minor blemish is laborious and unnecessary.
As condition and description is largely based on personal opinion, we ask that you look at the photos carefully and decide the rating and pattern if applicable of this item for yourself. Antiques in perfect condition are more often than not, reproductions. We never knowingly sell fakes.
