FAQs

I can usually customize my malas by changing guru beads and thread color for you. Thread color change and some other customizations may incur a small charge. Please contact me about customizing a mala before purchase. Please convo me about special orders.

My hand-knotted malas and necklaces are created using gemstones and cotton thread. I have found cotton thread to be durable, but you can lengthen the life of your mala by following a few tips. Do not allow your mala to become wet as this will weaken the thread. Limit your mala's exposure to sweat, perfume, and oils. Do not wear to bed. With normal use, the thread will eventually stretch a little bit. Daily wearing of your mala may result in more stress and eventual breakage of the thread. Gentle use is recommended to extend the longevity of the mala. If your mala does break or you decide you'd like a new color thread, please convo me and use the listing on my page to order a repair for it. There will be a small charge to cover materials.
