I primarily ship via USPS Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation within the USA.
If it is safe to do so, I can ship some items in priority flat rate boxes providing they offer enough space for proper packing materials.
Some of my items when purchased require a buyers signature upon delivery.
Some books I list may go media mail if possible. Media Mail can take longer to arrive at their destination, so if you are in a rush and want a book shipped priority mail, let me know before you purchase it so I can put the correct shipping total in the listing for you.
I usually ship within 3 business days after payment clears my bank Monday through Friday. At times some orders may be delayed in shipping due to weather conditions which are out of my control.
I am unable to ship on Saturday, Sunday and business holidays.
Due to inclement weather such as snow storms, some shipping may take longer than the 3 days as travel may not be possible.
I have no control over how fast or slow the shipping carrier will take to get your purchase to you once it is shipped out. Please take that into consideration.
I try to combine items when it is safe and feasible to do so. There are some items which do need to be shipped on their own.

I do not do local pick-ups.
I ship quickly but can not guarantee that any item will arrive by any given date including Christmas. It is just out of my control.
If buyer needs to pick up package or make an alternative delivery date when delivery attempts are made by shipping carrier and fails to do so and the package is returned to me, I reserve the right to cancel the transaction and shipping costs will not be refunded. Item must then be returned to me in the condition it was sent. This is s firm policy.
I can not control the time frame of the shipping carriers once they have the package in hand.
If you ask me to put a reserve on an item, I will do so for a limited period of time which is one day.
I will remove the reserve from the listing promptly if buyer does not checkout within that period of time. goes by unless I have agreed to extend the reserve for a particular buyer. . If you decide you no longer want the item on reserve, please convo me asap so I can remove the reserve from the listing. This is a fair practice for both the potential buyer as well as me the seller.
Unclaimed and returned packages will not be resent - refund will only be made if a package is returned and item is in same condition as originally sent out minus postage and insurance fees. If resend is requested, additional shipping and insurance costs must be made again for the resend postage fees, insurance fees and any sig confirmation fees.
If you desire to have signature confirmation, this will be an additional cost of $2.10. Please let me know before you purchase item so that I can add it to the shipping cost as that is an additional amount that for most items is not already figured into the shipping cost.
An affidavit of non-delivery signed by the buyer will be required prior to refund for insurance purposes.
Payment is due immediately after checkout.

If multiple items are bought and paid for with separate payments, they are not eligible for combined shipping and will be mailed in separate packages.
Shipping Charges shown to your zip code in the USA MAY be less than what is reflected in my listings if you live closer to the East Coast or New York. The shipping cost shown is estimated to the west coast.
I accept payment by PayPal to confirmed addresses only within the USA only.
I also accept USPS Postal Money Orders in US Funds as payment. No personal checks or any other type of money order accepted.
I only ship to the address that is on file with PayPal and Etsy and these two must match each other.
If you want me to ship to a different address, than your payment must be made with a USPS Money Order in US Funds and not by Paypal. This is a firm policy for my shop.
I accept USPS Postal Money Orders in US Funds. You can get the postal money order at any post office. Sorry, but I can not accept any other kind of money orders than a USPS Postal Money Order.
If you do use a money order, you need to have it made out to my name and not my shop name of Classic Memories. You will get an invoice during checkout showing my full name and address so you know where to send the money order to for payment.
If paying with a USPS postal money order, payment is due within 7 days of purchase.
If paying with a money order, I reserve the right to cancel a transaction if payment from buyer does not reach my mailbox within the 7 day payment period. I will relist the item in my shop.
I do not accept personal checks or business checks. This is a firm policy.
When making a purchase with a money order, if you need the item shipped to a different address within the USA, please let me know or I will presume that the name and address on file here at Etsy is the correct one to ship to and will use that one.
Please no APO/FPO addresses with Paypal. Please use a USPS Money Order in US Funds only.

If mailing in your payment to me via snail mail with a money order, please include in the envelope, a piece of paper with your full name and address, item number and name of item you purchased, and your postal money order. This will help expedite fulfilling your purchase.
If buying multiple items that need to be shipped separately, you will need to make separate payments if paying with Paypal.
If buying multiple items with separate transactions (paid separately) I need so ship each one in it's own box and they can not be combined.
Please make sure your address in file with paypal and Esty is current and is the same address that is on file at Paypal.
If you purchase an item from my shop using PayPal and then purchase another item and pay separately with Paypal, I need to ship each item separately due to PayPal's rules. Sorry, but this is a must.
Calculating shipping costs here is rather complicated. A buyer who lives closer to NY, does not necessarily have the same total shipping costs as one that lives much further away.
When you make your purchase, you agree to pay the listed shipping charge. This includes packing materials and a handling fee.as swell as postage. At times I need to figure in the extra cost of buying unusually shaped boxes to fit the item so it can ship safely..
Shipping costs include postage, insurance, shipping supplies, tracking number and if necessary signature confirmation.
If you pay with an e-check with paypal, your payment needs to clear before your item will be shipped out as per paypal rules.
Any purchase that totals $250.00 or more will require that the buyer sign for the package.
On some lesser amounts, a signature may be required.

If you are an International buyer and are interested in an item, contact me here first and I will see if it is possible for me to ship the item outside of the USA.
If I do agree to a transaction with International Buyers, my accepted form of payment will be a USPS Postal International Money in US Funds only. No Paypal for International Buyers.
The shipping cost in my listings only reflect USA buyers and not those for International customers.International customers will have a higher shipping cost for their items dependent on location.
International Buyers are responsible to pay for any customs, taxes, tariffs, duties and fees their country requires.
I will not mark packages as gifts nor undervalue prices on custom forms for International buyers, so please do not me ask me to do so.
