ANTIQUE WEDDING POSTCARD – PERFECT FOR CRAFTING A UNIQUE WEDDING INVITATION BACHELOR OR BACHELORETTE PARTY INVITE
This antique wedding postcard is a bit cheeky and I think it would make a fun image to craft a unique wedding invitation or perhaps an invite to a bachelor or bachelorette party. The minister awaits the arrival of the bride and I’m assuming that might be Father escorting her to the waiting groom – but I might have that all wrong – no way of knowing for sure. The card is entitled “Another Sucker Caught”
The card is postally used and cancelled in 1914. It’s actually rather funny but the message on the back is asking the recipient to bring along some corn when they come for a visit. Good overall condition however it should be noted there is a split in the center top of the card.
Please have a look at the scans and feel free to ask any questions you might have. Thanks for stopping by TheOldBarnDoor. Click here to return to my store and search for more treasures. http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheOldBarnDoor
I will select the most cost effective shipping method possible. Rates from Canada are, unfortunately, somewhat higher than those in the US. I strive to ship the next business day after payment but it may be up to 3 business days if things on the farm are really busy (lambing season, hay season etc). I will gladly combine items purchased to reduce the overall postage cost and I will mark the item shipped on the day I mail your item.
CUSTOMS: International customers are responsible for duties, taxes and customs fees assessed by your country. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; sellers have no control over these charges. You may contact your local customs office for more information.
When filling out customs forms, Canadian, U.S. and International government regulations prohibit sellers from marking merchandise values lower than the selling price, as well as marking items as gifts. Unfortunately, I have no control over the time it may take for your item to go through Customs before it arrives to you.
Payment through PayPal is preferred however I am delighted to be able to offer you the Direct Checkout option if that is more to your liking.
