Sun exposure: Full sun; 6+ hours of sun Water: Water when getting established; but generally drought tolerant during the summer. Let dry out between waterings. Habit: Each plant grows to about 6" tall by 9" wide clump. Hardiness: Annual - Not hardy in most regions but can re-seed. Fertilization: Not required, but adding a tablespoon or two of organic fertilizer could boost the growth!

More details: One order comes with a mixed variety of colors of moss rose. You may find orange, yellow, pink, white or red flowers within the mix! Moss rose, aka portulaca, is an gorgeous drought tolerant annual. This plant looks great and grows well around mailboxes, containers, in the border of a garden, rock gardens and fairy gardens. The flowers are beautiful quarter-sized, rose-like and will close up during the night and rainy weather, but open up when the sun shines.
