Item details

This pattern, written by me, is for handknitting a cotton oven mitt or pot holder, named Hot Mitt. Worked in two pieces and joined when finished, this pot holder pattern is a fairly quick knit.

YARN: Uses 2 oz. worsted weight cotton yarn, held double.
NEEDLES: Double pointed size 9 needles.

Cotton yarn for this project. It is a good insulator against the heat and is machine washable. Acrylic is not a good choice when dealing with heat and heat sources.

The pattern is now offered as an instant download. You will receive the instructions from etsy for your download, when payment has been confirmed. Thank you!
