This is a fingering weight 100 percent cotton stranded yarn. This colorway is called Elwyn.
This yarn is very soft and works up beautifully with a nice drape.
In this cake, four colors are stranded together to make this fingering weight yarn.
Wound into center-pull yarn cakes. The colour changes get slightly longer with each change as you work outwards from the centre of the cake. This is perfect for triangular, circular, or half-moon shawls that start out small and get larger as you go.
* 100% cotton - hand wash/cold water (it machine washes and dries beautifully as well - allow for some shrinkage) * fingering weight - 300 grams (minimum) * 1050 yards (minimum)
To save on packaging, your yarn cake will be shipped slightly flattened as shown in photo #5 (shown in a different colourway). Please read my shop announcement and my shipping policies (both on the main page of my shop) before ordering.
About shipping in the US and Canada: I really wish I could control the cost of shipping - that would be wonderful :) The cost of shipping does become much more reasonable per yarn cake the more you buy. You can find out how much your shipping costs will be by putting items in your cart. Shipping costs in the US and Canada include tracking.
About shipping everywhere else (outside US and Canada): Yarn purchases shipped outside of the United States and Canada are not tracked and can take 12 weeks to arrive - I am not responsible for lost packages. I do sincerely apologize for this but the tracked package shipping rate for one yarn cake, outside of the US and Canada, is almost CAD$50! Please contact me if you have any questions.
Photo #4 shows this colorway, striped with medium grey, made up into a basic garter stitch shawl. The medium grey yarn is not included with this listing - please ask if you would like some.
I photograph in natural light so the colours are as accurate as possible but monitors may vary in their representation of colour.
Yarn purchases will usually ship within 3 days of payment clearing. Custom orders may take longer. Shipment is made using Canada Post which takes about a week within Canada and 2-5 weeks (usually 2-3 weeks) to the United States. International shipping (outside of Canada and the United States) from Canada takes 10-12 weeks and does not include tracking. I am not responsible for lost packages shipped outside Canada and the United States. Shipping times cannot be guaranteed and any customs charges are your responsibility.
Purchases shipped to the US and Canada include tracking. If you would like to reduce your shipping fees and not have your package tracked, please contact me. If you choose to do this, I am not responsible if your package is lost.
Yarn purchases shipped outside of the United States and Canada are shipped via ground mail and are not tracked - I am not responsible for lost packages. I do sincerely apologize for this but the tracked package shipping rate for one yarn cake, outside of the US and Canada, is almost CAD$50! Also, for many international destinations, I will ship each yarn cake separately as this is the most cost effective way to ship. Shipping outside of Canada and the United States can take 10-12 weeks and is not tracked. Please contact me if you have any questions.
You can pay for your purchase using Paypal. You can also pay, through Paypal, using a credit card - you don't need a Paypal account to do this.
Returns & exchanges
If you are unhappy with your pattern or yarn purchases, please let me know. Unfortunately, I can't accept returns on yarn because it is made in my smoke-free and pet-free home and it would be impossible to have it returned in as-new condition so that I could resell it. If, under rare circumstances, a return was necessary, return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
Due to the nature of digital items, I don't offer refunds on patterns.
Please note that I photograph in natural light and and colours are as accurate as possible but monitors differ in their representation of colour.
All yarn is made in my smoke-free and pet-free home.
You can make as many items for charity or for personal from my patterns as you would like. You can also sell any finished items from my patterns, no exceptions, no need to contact me! Just please don't resell my actual patterns :)
