We all know who this is---an old favorite, Dorothy. She has brought along two of her friends. This pattern is for her classic dress and two other versions. This is an example of how you can take one design and, with a few minor changes, morph it into a completely new look. You have to admit they are cute.
This pattern may not be for the beginner as there are no drawings in the instructions; only well-written directions and the usual pattern pieces. If you have the assistance of an experienced seamstress, you will probably be successful.
I have a background in design, dressmaking and tailoring. When my little granddaughter, Sydney, asked for a doll that was 'easy to dress', I pulled out an American Girl catalogue, she selected Kirstin, and I was off and running. So a few years and many patterns later, here I am anxious to share my wares with you.
Try this little pattern, put your own touch on it and enjoy.
