* Although there are 7 available, the list price is for 1 thumbturn only. Exquisite, rare, antique thumnturns made by, "Yale & Towne," of Stamford, CT. The hardware was salvaged from a 1920's mansion in Eastern Long Island, NY in December 2014, just 2 weeks prior to its demolition (See Photos). The 6,000 sq ft home built on 20+ acres of private land, was beautifully constructed with only the best parts available at the time. The home was only used as a summer home by a family from the UK. It was ultimately torn down because it was too big! Everything in the house was in excellent condition and these sets are certainly no exception. All parts have the typical subtle nicks and light scratches that you would expect to find on old hardware, but there are no breaks, cracks, dents, or gouges.
At the point of salvage, the parts were partially painted and heavily tarnished (see last 2 photos). Since then, we removed the paint and cleaned and polished them to the best of our ability.
