Swap hook is a wooden glove for the last three fingers of the hand used in harvesting a sickle. At the top, the dowager ends with a curved inward horn about 22 centimeters long. The purpose of the palmaker is to cover more classes and protect the hand from injuries by the sickle as the classes are cut immediately under the hand. The horn is also used to tie bundles.
