This is really a woodworking tool for creating holes, but I am sure it will make an excellent corkscrew if you need to get a bottle of wine open! It has a solid metal shaft and a hand-carved wooden handle, and will really look lovely on display.

All shipping costs include postage and packing. The Italian Post office has just raised its prices in a rather random way, so the costs have increased slightly for certain countries and prohibitively expensively for others... my apologies on their behalf. Postage is mostly via Italian Priority post SURFACE mail, and as such can take at least 2-4 weeks to arrive, depending where you are. Some smaller items will be sent faster as they fall under the maximum weight limit for letters. If you would like the item to arrive faster, please ask for a shipping quote. And also if you would like the item insured, this is an additional cost. I cannot take responsibility for customs checks and hold ups so in the event of a delay the first place to check is with your local postal service and they can direct you from there, but we will always work with you to track the package. Delays are usually at the receivers end rather than the Italian end and, whilst frustrating, the package will get there in the end.
Items will normally be shipped within five working days once payment has been made. For larger, more expensive items we can offer to hold items for a small deposit for an agreed amount of time. Just ask! As per Etsy's guidelines an order cannot be cancelled by the buyer. If you need to cancel your order you may do so before it is shipped, but if it has been packaged you will be subject to a 25% handling and packaging fee.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
Custom or personalized orders
Perishable products (like food or flowers)
Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Additional return information
As the items are almost always unique, one off vintage items, we have tried to represent them and describe any age and wear marks as accurately as possible in the listing and, as such, don't offer refunds. We will accept returns if it's really not what you were after, but the buyer pays the return shipping and will incur a 25% handling charge prior to the refund, also in the event of it having been packaged and not yet sent. In the event of damage during shipping, please contact us and we can come to an agreement regarding replacement or refunding. Damage is not our responsibility as all items are very well packed, but shipped using the most economical means of postage. For a more secure method of shipping there is always insurance, but it will cost more. We endeavour to pack everything so there is the minimum chance of breakage, but the postal service can't always be relied on to handle all items with care. So if there is damage, we will try and replace the item if the buyer covers the shipping costs.
