This is a PDF Sewing Tutorial demonstrating how to make a belt from old boots.
This 30 page tutorial includes color photographs and step by step SIMPLE Tutorial instructions that will teach you how to make your own belt from old boots.
All you'll need, (besides this tutorial, of course) is:
• An old pair of boots with nice design details for visual appeal (belts, buckle, zippers, buttons, etc.) • Sewing machine that can sew thick fabric. I used a #16 needle for this project • Scissors • Thread
• Pattern cutting board for cutting straight lines.
I love the final product, and wear this belt a lot, especially when I need to cinch in my waist! Most people can’t believe it's a belt made from boots, and that, my friends, gives me great satisfaction! I love it when people try to figure out what one of my refashions was previously.
