WORLD'S HOTTEST PEPPER. These are the real things and let me tell you The Carolina Reaper is a BEAST! Again, these are actual Carolina Reaper Pepper Plants. So many sellers sell fakes but not us - Authenticity is 100% GUARANTEED.

Guiness Book of World Record HOTTEST PEPPER! Carolina Reaper - Capsicum chinense - This is an unbelievably hot variety developed by a grower in South Carolina. Carolina Reapers are a chile pepper plant variety that was created by crossing a Pakistani Naga with a Red Habanero type from St Vincents Island in the West Indies. It is also called HP22B pepper It looks similar to the Trinidad Scorpion, but the pepper's flesh is bumpier.

It has been Scoville tested up to 2.2 million units with an average heat level of over 1,400,000. These chile plants grow slowly in the beginning like Nagas but in a humid climate they are very productive. The capsaicin has been known to penetrate one glove layer so you may have to double glove or keep changing them. By no means get any of the juice near you eyes or any children. You will hear from both if you do!

Plants will be shipped priority mail. We will watch the weather to see if shipping to your area is viable. Temps in the 20's and low 30's aren't good for live plants. If you order, we will ship quickly or be in touch. Shipping to continental US only.

Plants were not very happy being shipped, but after putting some water and a little sun on them they perked right up. Perfect. Thank you!
