I don't know why I didn't think of this before - just plain natural tone! Because my paper is made from plant fibers, the tone of the fibers ranges from white, a yellow or greenish white to beige. This batch of pulp (wonderful happenstance!) produces a soft beige tone.
The paper is made from a combination of abaca fiber and the white inner bark from the kozo tree. It's remarkably thin, with very deckled edges, yet it's really strong.
I cook, clean and beat the kozo fiber by hand and then combine it with the abaca fiber and beat it again.
Abaca is a very strong versital pulp from the banana leaf. It's commonly known in the international trade as Manila Hemp and is considered the strongest of natural fibers. It is 3 times stronger than Sisal fiber, and is far more resistant to salt water decomposition than most of the vegetable fibers
Listing is for eight sheets of 8 x 10 inch paper.
Love this paper! Exactly what I was looking for, fast shipping and great product!
