This sewing pattern will show you how to make a good size shoulder bag, with interior slip-in pockets, fully lined and interfaced. Long shoulder straps (which you can make shorter or longer to suit). Full-size pattern pieces are included for printing at home.

Fabric width – 112cm/44'', Interfacing width – 90cm/35.5'' (if using 22'' wide interfacing such as Pellon you'll need double the amount stated below)
3/4 metre (1 yard), medium weight cotton, patterned – main fabric 1/2 metre (5/8 yard), medium weight cotton, plain - lining fabric 1.25 metre (1.5 yard) medium weight iron-on (fusible) interfacing – I used Vilene G700 1/2 metre (5/8 yard) heavy weight sew-in interfacing – I used Vilene S13 Complementary thread 10-15mm (0.5'') Prym Press Fastener & Tool (alternatively, sew-on pop-fastener or sew-on Velcro if preferred)
