One bump of pindrafted wool. This preparation of natural black and white colored wool will make a heathered yarn when spun.
A pindrafter has many tiny combs that align the fiber to be more parallel than simple roving. This will allow you to spin semi-worsted yarn. It is also ideal for people who want pre-drafted wool or are just learning to draft.
Despite being jacketed and carefully skirted, this batch of white has very minimal tiny dots of vm. It is really quite clean, but the white color shows every speck. If you look at the photos, they are an accurate representation. I just want to meet buyers' expectations.
Our natural, jacketed, 100% Finn wool is ready to use for your hand-spinning. Finn wool is soft and lustrous.
All of our products are from our own flock on our small, family-owned farm in Wisconsin. We raise registered Finnsheep as a heritage breed. Our fleeces have won awards at the Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival and Michigan Fiber Festival.
