Happy Halloween!! Oh wow it's getting to that time of year again and the stores are stocking up on fall and halloween supplies and decorations. So, with this in mind I was inspired to start creating some new albums for the upcoming season. This particular album was created using the paper line from My Minds Eye their "Spiders Web" collection. It is was of my favorites that I came across in my stash. I just love the colors of rust, gray, cream, gold, white and black. So many of the designs found include pumpkins, scary felines, bats, spiders, stripes, skeletons a few floral designs and even polka dots!
Use caution as you go through all of the 6 interactive pages not only will you bump into some creatures but you'll come across flaps that open to the side or from the top and have magnetic closures, deep pockets that contain tags for journaling and small mats for some photos or even a waterfall on the back inside cover. There's plenty of room under the flaps for larger photos and large pull out tags in the pocket pages that can be used for more photos if desired.
So many of the embellishments I used complimented the paper line or were created using my personal dies or punches. All of the design paper was distressed with ink to add interest.
The outside cover wraps around to the front and has a magnetic closure to keep it secure. The front cover is decorated with a pumpkin shape die cut, stickers , paper flowers and leaves and rick rack trim adorns the edge. A touch of glimmer mist and wink of stella give a hint of shimmer.
On the spine you will find 2 charms, one with a skull and cross bones and the other that says "trick or treat". Pretty ribbons and seam binding tied together into a bow adds the final touch.
This album would be a nice way to display many of your halloween photos from the past or for ones for the future. Either way Happy Halloween!
