Fancy Salvaged Metal Collection, Assemblage Art, Altered Art, Sculpture Supplies
“I could make some cool stuff if I learnt how to weld. Do they let old ladies in welding class? Probly not. Need to sweet talk my brother-in-law. He can weld, but don’t know if he’d trust me with a torch. I wouldn’t,” Gramma Kakie
This collection of vintage salvaged metal and assorted things features some pretty pieces, like drawer pulls, shabby candle holder, finials, junk coins and jewelry. There are a few things I can’t rightly identify, but they have some attractive texture and detail.
To give you an idea of size, the candle holder base is about 2.5 inches in diameter and about 2 inches in height. The white flower metal thing is quite heavy, probably cast iron that is painted. The fish pull is too. The leaf appears to be some kind of brand thing, Tastefully Simple on the back.
These metal things would make great embellishments for shabby assemblage art projects or sculptures that requires a vintage look. As with all old, rusty metal, handle with care and keep out of the hands of children.
