This is a downloadable cross stitch pattern of a beautiful snowy winter garden scene. It originally featured in issue 197 of 'The World of Cross Stitching' magazine and was part of a set of 4 designs, with each one focusing on a different season.
The design has lots of little details, such as the potted Cyclamen flower on the windowsill and the star shaped lantern. Through the window you can see festive red berries and snow topped foliage. Pink curtains 'frame' the design and give it a cosy feel.
The design is 167 stitches wide x 128 stitches high. In the magazine it was stitched on 28 count evenweave. (You could use 14 aida if you prefer).
The design is stitched using Anchor Stranded Cotton.
If stitched on this count of fabric the finished stitching measures approx. 30.3cm x 23.2cm, (12" x 9").
The chart is in colour (with black symbols overlaid) and is saved at a large scale, spread over 6 x A4 pages (plus the colour key), to make it easy to stitch from. There is also a smaller chart which is over 2 x A4 pages, (minus the grid and symbol, so that you can see the full design on one page). There's also a colour print out of the finished stitching included, with the stitch count details.
Please note: this pattern contains some fractional stitches, so is probably more suited to an intermediate/ experienced stitcher than a beginner.

Returns & exchanges
The PDF file is a file that can be downloaded after purchasing it from me. It contains a colour chart with the thread colour key, so that you can stitch up the design for yourself.
Please be aware that when you are purchasing a PDF cross stitch pattern from me you are buying a DIGITAL FILE and NOT a FINISHED PIECE OF STITCHING! (Any stitching shown in the PDF pattern listings are used to show you how the designs will look when stitched up).
If you are purchasing a digital file from me I'm sorry that I'm unable to offer refunds or exchanges on these.
If you ask for a refund because you were expecting to receive a stitched piece of work I'm afraid I won't offer a refund - as it clearly stated on my shop that you are purchasing a DIGITAL FILE.
If you have any questions about/ problems with your purchase please email me at susanbates7(at)yahoo.com and we can discuss it and come to a solution.
