Just try to stop staring at this eclipse. Fortunately, you don’t have to! Swirling deep orange and red fade out into golden yellow rays that are ultimately consumed by shadow and cosmic gray/black semisolid. Hand-dyed directly in the path of the coming eclipse, make this your ultimate tribute to our generation’s solar phenomenon.
This fingering weight yarn base is a single-ply superwash merino (450 yards; approximately 4.5 oz). This yarn has been hand dyed by me and variations between dyelots will happen. Alternating between skeins for large projects is recommended. Please convo me for special orders. I will ship orders for multiple skeins from the same dyelot whenever possible. Rotating between skeins for larger projects is highly recommended.
I do my best to accurately photograph each colorway. Please remember that colors vary from screen to screen and hand-dyed yarn varies from skein to skein. This colorway is prone to secondary spots of color, and the shaded yellow might appear a bit green. Please see the example photos. If you would like to see the specific skeins I'm shipping you, I'll be happy to send photos before I ship--just convo me!
We are a smoke free, cat-friendly home. While the cat does not frequent the rooms where yarn is dyed and stored, there may be an occasional stray hair.
