Jimmy Sock: Just like Jimmy's this yarn was made to be worn on your feet! It is strong yet soft, perfect for your every day socks. That's not to say socks are the only thing you can make with this yarn. Its also great for shawls, cowls, sweaters etc. The tight twist and 25% nylon makes this yarn strong enough for about any project you throw at it and the super soft merino makes you want to cuddle it.
One skein should be enough for a pair of socks, but be sure to check your pattern's requirements.
Hand dyed with professional acid dyes. I wash all yarns after dyeing, but it may bleed little on the first wash.
Each hank is unique if using more then one its best to alternate hanks every few rows.
Care: Hand wash cold & lay flat to dry. If you must machine wash I strongly suggest a garment bag and COLD water. Washing hand dyed yarn in water above 106f can break the bond between yarn & dye.
I do my best to represent colors accurately, but they may vary slightly when viewed on different monitors and screens
My yarns come from my smoke & pet free shop & studio.
I usually gravitate to blues and pinks and purples so this colorway was out of my comfort zone. I am very pleased with the yarn and the colors. It's gorgeous. I'm excited to see how it knits up. I'm glad I went outside my comfort zone!!!
