FAQs

No we don’t make actual cosplays for people. We will do Custom Cosplay Kimono dresses if you want to send us a picture of the character to see if we’d take on the project. But at the moment we do not do actual cosplay commissions.

No. They are one size fits most. Please see the listings for the measurements the kimonos fit. We will however make them a bigger one size fits most or smaller. But they will still fit a range of measurements not just your body specifically.

We can not tell you that based on a pant, shirt or dress size alone as depending on brands sizing and measurements change. Please provide your actual Bust, waist, and hip measurements in inches and we’d be happy to answer! Also each listing has the range the outfit fits in inches in the description, so once you’re armed with your own measurements you may be able to answer your own question :3 if you’re still unsure though we got your back! Or if you need a different size option we can help with that too!

No we will not send out anything for free. We see that for the scam it is. However if you’d truly like to review the item you can “rent” it depending on if it’s already in stock. Basically you will need to purchase the item and then once it’s sent back in prime condition we will refund you your purchase. Please PM us for a contractual listing stating the terms of such rental. Kimono rentals can not be worn on bare skin, this is to prevent sweat stains. They may be worn over clothing or displayed on a dress form. You must be a smoke free, pet free home or studio. At this time no we do not and due to customers “inconsideration” we must now kindly ask you do not hire someone else to make our exact design for your child because we wouldn’t. It is a copyright violation, it is theft, your etsy account can be suspended, your Facebook account can be shut down, your tumblr can be removed, your twitter account can be disabled. Wherever you post asking for such a thing chances our we will or a follower will find it and we will take action against you :( I feel that this shouldn’t have to be said but it does. Just because it’s clothing doesn’t mean it’s not art.

I may have had the chance to tell you in person but I also may not have. Our plushies are “Con Exclusives” you can only buy them at the cons we attend and we will not send them out online. Due to etsy fees, credit processing fees, and handling and shipping cost we’d have to charge almost double then what you can buy it for in person, which in our opinions isn’t worth it. Plus we attend so many conventions we can barely keep items in stock for cons let alone for online orders too. If you missed out this year then let the con know you want us back next year :3 they do take that into consideration when judging who gets in or not.

Yes! We’re more then happy to make any of our designs to fit bigger sizes. We do up charge for it though as unfortunately it does require more materials. This up charge ranges from $20-$60 depending on how many more inches we’re adding and how wide the fabric used comes in. Most fabrics are only 45 inches wide and this is where the up charge stems from as to make a top or skirt 46-63 inches we need a lot more fabric.

If you live in the United States and are ordering Pokémon ears with a kimono the ears will ship free automatically if you do not Change the shipping option on the ears from first class when checking out. If you are ordering more then one kimono dress you will need to pay shipping on both dresses even though they will ship together. The only items that combine ship are pokemon ears.

At this time we are not offering payment plans and no we will not make an exception. We feel that as our items do not cost thousands of dollars this is unnecessary. We would much rather you personally save up the money on your own and then make the purchase as our items are always in stock. If we set up payment plans you’d be paying more money then if you buy it upfront as we would have to figure in the fees from creating multiple listings for you to purchase, the fees etsy takes every time you make a purchase, and the individual taxes on each listing.

All items are made to order and will take between 1-8 weeks to make depending on the item. Be sure to check the items processing time!

You must provide me with the correct name and address!! If it is wrong when given to me, I am not responsible for the item not reaching you. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS DO NOT USE A MADE UP NAME IN YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS. WE WILL NOT SHIP TO FAKE NAMES, CHARACTER NAMES, OR USER NAMES! If you are not ok with providing your legal name we will cancel your purchase and you will not receive your item. This is for the protection of both of us. To many times these types of packages have come back to us and as we are not made of money we will not continue to try and ship it to you until someone gets the delivery right.

If there is a delivery failure due to an error on your end (wrong name, wrong address, no one home to receive it, never picked it up from the post office, etc) and it is returned to us you will need to pay for shipping again before we mail the package back out. This cost will also include the listing and etsy fees for creating a new listing for you to purchase for the shipping cost. If the error is on our end (we wrote it wrong or sent it to the wrong address after you updated it with us) we will cover the cost of standard shipping within its weight class to be mailed back out correctly.

Plushies are standard shipping unless you purchase a priority upgrade.
Kimonos all ship out Priority.
Ears ship out first class for free and priority with insurance if you pay.

Insurance is not included in your purchase, you must add it to your cart to cover your package to the full amount unless stated in the listing. Priority mail only covers insurance up to $50. If your item is more then that and you do not purchase the insurance it will not be covered. If your package isn't sent out priority no amount will be covered.

If your package arrives damaged you MUST photograph the damaged packaging top to bottom before opening the package, Then photograph the damage to the product. If product is damaged and if your product includes shipping insurance (see listing to see if it does) or you purchase shipping insurance your item will be covered. If this happens please message us for details on how to proceed. If your purchase is $25 or more you must purchase insurance in order to receive a replacement if your item is damaged or lost during shipping. Orders less then $25 will be remade and shipped at the digression of the shop owners. Refunds are not available.

Please note that custom orders will take longer to produce! So plan accordingly! Do not blame me if you did not prepare far enough ahead. And please keep in mind that shipping is not processing time it is a separate thing. So make sure when ordering that the shipping and processing time is within your time frame. Add 4 days for priority to be safe and 1 week for first class. They may come faster but its best to be prepared, specially during the holidays.

We no longer honor requests for faster processing and shipping after you have ordered. If you want it by a sooner date then what it's listed for you need to ask before purchase! If you do not ask and order your request will be ignored and your time frame will remain as listed. Asking for a faster processing time sometimes may result in a "Rush order" fee. This fee will be applied if you need it within a week of messaging us, if you need it but we will be gone at convention or if we are preparing for a con. But usually unless you need it within a week or two we are willing to work with you if you ask! You have to understand there may be orders ahead of yours before yours can be started, we may not be home as we travel to cons to sell at quite often, or work and life are in the way. Only one person in this shop does the sewing, if she is busy the orders can not be rushed.

International buyers may be required by their country to pay extra fees before delivery of item. These include customs and tax charges based on your countries import laws.


Payments

Payment must be made within two days of ordering your item! I will not make it until the payment is received! If you need to cancel an order, you must do so within 12 hours of ordering your item!!! - This may vary for kimonos -

We will no longer be honoring "requests" for faster processing times after you've paid. All clothing listings have and have had "Rush Order" order guidelines and fees. If you place your order and decide 4 days after you order you need it 1-2 weeks after that you will have to pay the Rush order fee for the labor and for cutting ahead of other orders. To many people have been abusing the system by asking for it sooner after its been ordered. If you do not message us BEFORE PURCHASE to ask if the item can be rushed and just leave a note at check out your request will not be honored and you will not be able to cancel your order as we do not allow cancellations on kimonos.

Rush orders will only be accepted if we feel we can meet your needs, this is why you need to message us before ordering if you need it fast. If you decide after you order that you need it fast and we can't meet that deadline you can not cancel as it is an error on your part.

kimono orders can not be cancelled once purchased! Please read through everything before purchasing one. This may seem unfair but in order to stay on top of orders and get them to you as soon as possible kimono orders are often started just hours after you place them. This means you can not cancel because you would be wasting my materials if your order has been started. If it is suspected that you did not receive a damaged package and you damaged the packaging and or item yourself no help will be given. Please be honest with us and we will do our best to make sure your item is everything you want it to be.

I am not responsible for any lost items or damages that occur while in transport to you. That is what the insurance is for. Please purchase it if its not included with your item.

Most of our shipping does NOT include insurance, please be sure to purchase it to cover your self. If you purchase insurance your item will be covered for the full amount you paid for it. If you do not purchase the insurance but receive your item via priority it will only be covered for the standard $50 worth of insurance priority comes with not the full amount if your item was over $50 unless it is a kimono in which case the dress will be covered.

If for any reason the address you provided is incorrect and your item is returned to us you will need to pay postage again to have it delivered to the correct address. We will not be held responsible for incorrect information provided to us. If it is our mess up we will ship it back at no charge. Please be sure to provide your correct and legal name, that your address is correct, that the apartment number and letter is provided if applicable, and the zip code is correct to prevent this from happening. Do not rely on the post office to catch errors made. And please be aware some post offices will not deliver to addresses with fake names. No matter how cool it is to receive a package addressed to the character the item is for don’t do it. I will not send packages to “character” names.

DO NOT CLAIM OUR ITEMS OR DESIGNS AS YOUR OWN

- We kindly ask that you do not ask others to make our items for you if we turn down your order. Our designs are our own creations and we ask that you do not hire out others to reproduce them. We consider such actions as stealing and will take actions against you on any sites we see you posting asking for such a thing to be done. We have a pretty decent following of people who respect what we do and that keep an eye out for such theft. We have had facebook accounts, tumblrs, and instagrams shut down for such actions and claims. We take this very seriously.

- Do not buy our items with the intent to copy the pattern for personal or business use. Again if we see such things occurring we will take actions against you, not to mention if this becomes too big of a problem we will limit our availability to at cons only and you will have ruined a good thing for many people.

- We sell at many cons across the US not to mention attend many cons as guests. If we see you selling our patterns and items we will inform the con heads and have you removed from the con. We have had this happen before and have had people removed from cons because they wouldn't take down or dispose of the stolen items

The item may not be exact to the picture!! This is because of lighting and such things I cannot control.

We are a smoke free home, but we do have pets. Pets are not allowed in the crafting area but pet hair and dander travel. We do our best to keep it away from your items but if you have crazy sever allergies order at your own digression.

Do not write a bad review or open a case without contacting us first or reading the policies and item descriptions correctly. We'd rather try to resolve the issue with you before taking it a step farther. We do our best to work with our customers, as long as you come into a situation pleasantly we will do everything we can within reason and making it fair to both sides to fix a situation.
