Comments: This stone, originally a lake coral, became an agatized fossil over 350 million ago. It is named after Indian Chief Pet-O-Sega (of Ottawa Indian tribe) which translates to "rays of dawn" or "rising sun". The colors are a mix of creamy tans, white and slate gray. Many of the chambers are crystallized and cast off sparkles. Bright white "star" spot due to flash/polish is not part of the stone. Back pictured in 3rd photo.
*Please Note: I make every effort to capture the item’s "true essence". Please keep in mind that all computer monitors are different and the viewing colors may vary slightly. Also, the stones are photographed under a variety of lighting and with assorted backgrounds which may affect the appearance. Thanks for visiting my shop!*
