This is a vintage 1950's Simplicity paper sewing pattern for a beautiful girl's robe (S.123).
Description. Cozy robe has long set-in sleeves and patch pocket at right front. Robe laps right over left and fastens with tie belt in front. V. 1 features shawl collar and top-stitching on pocket, sleeves, front and collar edges. V. 2 has peter-pan collar and buttons and thread loop closing at neckline.
The pattern is a size 12 - breast 30 inches, waist 32 1/2 inches
There are 9 pattern pieces and the majority of these are cut around, but outside the cutting line. Most pieces are in very good condition, but a couple have some worn patches along the fold lines.
The envelope has a gorgeous full colour vibrant illustration, however it is in poor condition, with substantial wear including tears, holes and yellowing along the top edges and in the flap area. There are some small tears on the bottom edge and some handwritten notes on the front of the envelope. There is also some sticker damage on the back of the envelope.
