Czech glass melon shape (like a tiny round pumpkin) in a delicate blush pink opalite with a gold finish in the etched lines.
Production of glass beads in the Czech Republic (in an area called Jablonec nad Nisou) dates back to the 14th century. This age-old cottage industry is known for its fine workmanship and many of the beads are still made in small quantities by hand.
Please note that images are taken with a macro lens to give you as much detail as possible, so pay close attention to the bead size description. For reference, a quarter coin is about 24mm in diameter.
