As I jewelry designer, I used regular flat needle nose pliers to flatten crimps. I'll never go back after using this tool, specifically designed to create a tighter and smoother and more professionally finished crimp.
Size: Pliers measure about five (5) inches and will crimp tubes up to 3mm.
Material: hardened steel, with flexible PVC-covered handles and a scissor joint
Quantity: One tool
More info: •Directions for use is included in package. • Use these pliers for 2–3mm beads (https://www.etsy.com/shop/cariadbeads614?search_query=crimp+tubes) • Dual-duty jaws provide expert crimping: position and crease the crimp tube or bead into an oval, then shape and finish • The final crimps are suitable as floating bead stations or spacers on visible cord or can be hidden underneath crimp covers (https://www.etsy.com/shop/cariadbeads614?search_query=crimp+covers)
