A freeform oval cabochon of Morrisonite jasper. This one has a really neat pattern; the beige area looks like its being dissolved or broken apart, whereas the dark blue is more calm and flowing. Maybe the scene of waves crashing onto land, but with inverted colors! With these patterns and colors, it's not hard to understand why quality Morrisonite is so highly sought by collectors and lapidarists. Last picture is of the back of the stone. I've included a picture of the side/girdle profile of the stone.
