Item details

Ocean Jasper Cabochon, Handmade Designer Cabochons by MagicStones.

This is a classic cabochon of AAA+++ old-stock Ocean Jasper mined off the northwest coast of Madagascar and unfortunately the mine is no longer producing.

Beautiful flower like orbs create a deep sea under a sky at sunset. The back is as lovely as the front!

Approximate measurements:
45mm x 44mm x 6.5mm
3.5mm side bezel

I make all my cabochons by hand in my home studio. Unless otherwise noted all my gems are domed on the front and are flat with a slight bevel on the back for ease of setting. The sides are cut at a slight angle (12.5 degrees off of perpendicular). I polish the front, back and sides of each stone.

Tracking is included in the shipping costs for all U.S. orders.

The photos are taken with a Nikon SLR digital camera with a 50mm macro lens. The photos are taken 12 - 18 inches under state of the art 50-watt photography lights (4700k). I never enhance photos to make them look better, rather I do my best to capture the gem as it truly looks. I also try to take pictures with different color backgrounds to give a better idea of the stones true color. Different computer monitors may show variations in color.
