At The Woolly Flock, we make our wool felt utilizing two felting techniques. First we needle felt the wool fiber with our needle felting machine and then we finish them using the wet felting technique.
Our hand felted wool fabrics are one of a kind, there are no two pieces which are exactly the same. Every piece is hand made and hand dyed with natural plant dyes.
**These woollen fabrics are soft, but durable; the colors are earthy warm and vibrant; each piece is a truly unique piece of 'slow' wool magic!**
These wool felts are an excellent choice for rug hooking. The wool cuts very easily using wool cutters and scissors and they do not fray! You can hook an entire rug with these felted wool pieces or just use them as accent fabrics.
Also these felts are wonderful for wool applique and other art and craft techniques where wool felt is needed.
**Either way, since you are using our beautiful, sustainably sourced and produced hand felted wool fabrics, it will definitely make a strong statement in your artistic creations!**

Color and Dye lot info: Although we do our best to capture the accurate colors of our fabrics and yarns, please keep in mind that colors will vary from computer monitor to monitor. We hand dye our fabrics and yarns in small batches. Due to the sensitiveness of this process, shade variation occurs between different dye lots.
If you need a certain size of a fabric or yarn with the same color, please contact us.
**The colors might not be even, they can have darker and lighter spots.**
