FAQ: difficulty with turtle (update) Head, flippers and each foot are worked into one sc from the previous row. Head and feet go near the longer parts of the oval and the flippers are about 3 sc distance from head on both sides.
The turtles on the first picture are 5 rounds because the blanket was a bigger size. I have these set at 3 rounds for the size of the blanket, but if you want yours bigger, that's fine, just make sure to put extra stitches on the long sides of the oval to keep the oval shape.

Would have been nice to have in one pdf file, was a bit pricy for what it was

This pattern was very fun to make. I had a question about a part of it, and NerdyCrochetist answered me incredibly quickly! I would definitely buy from her again.

Pattern was easy to follow and worked up beautifully. I altered just a tad by adding a few rows of “wet sand”.

Easy to follow instructions

I love the premise but the pattern was hard to work with. I had to do a lot of trial and error as well as outside research to find the right sizing for my blanket. Still not sure what blanket size this pattern makes because it was not included in the instructions. I was disappointed for the price point.
