Phoenix Aurora is an effect top coat with color shifting shimmer and iridescent glitter, meant for layering over other polishes. It is part of the Mythological Aurora Top Coat quartet. Phoenix Aurora is the Mythological counterpart to Aurora Australis, containing the same iridescent glitter that shifts orange through gold and green, with the addition of the same color shifting pigment used in all of Starlight and Sparkles' Phoenix polishes, which shifts from red to gold to green, and flashes vivid red and bright green at the extremes of its color range.
Several wonderful ladies were kind enough to review this polish, and the swatch pictures of this polish are from three of those ladies!
The first three pictures are from Lisa of Cosmetic Sanctuary and show one coat of Phoenix Aurora over black. Her review is here: https://www.cosmeticsanctuary.com/starlight-polish-aurora-collection/
The fourth and fifth pictures are from Velasha of Two Girls One Blush and show one coat of Phoenix Aurora over black. Her review is here: http://www.twogirlsoneblush.com/2017/06/13/starlight-polish-aurora-top-coats/
The sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth pictures are from Kaylyna of Killakay's Nail Adventure and the swatches show one coat of Phoenix Aurora over black. Her review is here: http://www.killakaysnailadventure.com/2017/07/03/starlight-polish-l-the-aurora-collection-more/
The last picture shows what the 15mL and 5mL bottles will look like. The Mythological Aurora Top Coats are also listed as a set, in both 15mL and 5mL sizes.
This polish contains "unicorn pee" pigment. The red to green color shifting pigment in the Phoenix polishes is the same kind of pigment that's in the original elusive unicorn pee polishes (Clarins 230, Liquid Euphoria Bliss, etc).
Phoenix Aurora is a custom polish, made from scratch with nail lacquer base, color shifting glitter, and color shifting pigment. Starlight Polish is 5 free, meaning free of DBP, toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, and camphor, and contains no carmine or other animal-derived pigments.
Very sparkly and filled with UP! Just one coat over any color is great 😉

OMG! girls the color shifting from burgundy to green WITH extra chunks of iridescent BLING! the polish itself is quality, long lasting effect. I use it over different colors from dark purple to light grey. The outcome will look different indoors than outdoors and there are many chunks, not two on one finger and 7 on the other...probably 50 plus with one application. This stuff dries hard and is tough from what I can see. The Unicorn Pee has got to be the hottest craze I've seen in nail polish and these guys have it down. Hope it's always available, I'm stocking up from what I see with all the other dupes...
