FAQs

We use Aluminum 1100. WE use this because it is soft, low strength and, at 99% aluminum composition, is the commercially pure grade among aluminum alloys. Aluminum 1100 is a soft material and is used to make many common household items, such as cooking utensils, household foil, and food containers. Artists appreciate the ability to form shapes using stamps, engravers and other light-weight tools. We use 1100 Grade because it can have a more shinny look and hold its shine longer than cheaper grades , such as 3003 and higher. 3003 Grade aluminum is cut with Magnesium which will give the metal a more gray and dull look.

Yes. Please send us a message with the Gauge, the type of metal, size in inches and the shape. Also if you have a photo of the design you would like that would allow us to give you a better quote.

**LOST PACKAGES** I am not responsible for lost packages if they are coded as Delivered via the USPS tracking delivery confirmation number that is provided to you once your item(s) ship. $50 Insurance is added to ALL orders shipped with priority. I am happy to offer insurance for the purchase amount, through USPS at the customer's expense, you can select this from the shipping upgrades. LATE PACKAGES: Depending on the season, USPS can get behind on their time frame. As long as I have your package out before the official USPS cutoff, I cannot be held liable for packages that take longer to get to you.

Turnaround time is currently 3 business days for purchased of 200 items or less. Please add 3 business days for every additional 200 items added to your order.

Yes, copper does tarnish in the form of patina. It will start to change color, look like smudges, or just fade over time. This is inevitable with all copper, no matter which vendor you purchase from. This happens due to contact with moisture or oil, usually just moisture in the air or skin contact. It is easy to fix though. You can use any polishing pad, just give it a few wipes and it will be as good as new!
