This dress is a good example of ingenious 1920's dress designs: it is stunnigly simple, yet has just enough details to make it stand out. The stylishly finished armholes and hem and the chic bow collar give the dress a couture touch and the decoratively gathered skirt panels allow the wearer more freedom of movement and accentuate the low waistline in an understated manner. The dress is embroidered with modern, simple to make embroidery, of which upwards curved shapes give the garment an art deco look. The dress is quick and easy to sew, and a pleasure to wear. Depending on the choice of fabric, it can be worn as an everyday summer dress or in more formal occasions.
This is product is a ready to use, printable, real-size pattern of a dress from the 1920's. The originial pattern was published in June 1926 in a German fashion magazine called „Modenzeitung fürs Deutsche Haus“. The pattern is made to fit a person with the following measurements: bust: 96 cm or 38 ins, waist: 76 cm or 30 ins and hip: 106 cm or 42 ins but due to the very simple, straight cut, the models are very easy to enlarge or make smaller. The pattern also includes an embroidery pattern and instructions for making the embroidery. However, the dress can also be made without the embroidery and the design would also look gorgeous, if it would be made of fabrics with modern, graphic prints.

I love having this pattern right at my fingertips. the price is good and a lot cheaper then a real 1920s pattern. I think this was an amazing idea and is very well done. I did notice that the instructions do not go in to great detail. But if you are a experience sewer you should be able to put these lovely dress together. I also didn't know how to resize the pattern on the computer to make it the right size like on the print test sheet to make sure it was the right size. If you are also computer savvy this is really a great pattern. I would love to see more patterns from this company but with a little bit more information and more illustrations when it comes the instructions. I can't wait to see more designs for the fabulous 20's from this company.
