Generally I insure packages with purchases that are over $25.00, but I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged packages so please keep this in mind.
If you would like a quicker shipping method, such as Priority shipping, please email me prior to your purchase and the adjusted amount will be added to the listing accordingly.
As soon as payment is received, I will send out your package the same day or the very next (by usps).
PLEASE be sure that your address is correct on Etsy as I cannot be responsible for incorrect addresses and possible losses of packages because of this.
About INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING ~~~ PLEASE READ ~~~ My shop has NO CONTROL on international packages once they've been shipped. I can NOT REPLACE YOUR PACKAGE if it gets lost and I can NOT give refunds. I do however insure most international packages over $25. If you should require insurance for purchases smaller than $25, please email prior to buying as the shipping amount may have to be adjusted. Sorry and thank you for understanding.
Paypal or Credit Card is my preferred method of payment. I also accept USPS money orders - NO international money orders. Please contact me to discuss further options. If you live in the state of Indiana, I must charge the 7% sales tax. If an order is canceled, there is a $10.00 restocking fee. Thank you for your understanding.
Returns & exchanges
Refunds can be given only within 7 days from purchase date, but item must be sent back at buyer's expense, all packing intact, and sent insured (if the amount is over $15.00).
Please feel free to ask any/all questions prior to purchasing so that you will know exactly what you are getting and possibly save yourself this trouble of having to return something.
On Special Orders, refunds can be given ONLY in special cases, but please talk to me about your issue or problem or concerns! I am happy to remedy the situation in most cases. If the mistake is mine, of course I will allow a return and possibly a do-over or alteration if you like. PLEASE check your email OFTEN after ordering a custom item, so we can discuss how you want your item made, and therefore less mistakes or surprises will occur. I do email photos of your piece so you can view it before you receive it which makes something easy to fix before it is sent out. THANK YOU.

If you have written me concerning holding an item for you (otherwise known as "Reserved Listing"), I can only hold an item for 1-2 days. Many times I am asked to do this, and then the customer doesn't purchase the item when they said they would, so I can only hold an item for 1-2 days. Another customer may be wanting that item. Thank you for understanding.
There is a $10.00 restocking fee on canceled orders. This will cover fees that I will incur.
When you receive your package, if anything is amiss, PLEASE contact me so I can make it right -- we are all human and can occasionally make mistakes! :-)
With that said, if you have any "issues", PLEASE contact me first before leaving unfavorable feedback. I work very hard to please my customers (& obtain positive feedback) and would appreciate your contacting me and giving me a chance to correct a problem.
If something I have made has a problem, please don't be afraid to contact me. I try VERY hard to make things (with my perfectionistic tendencies) so they will last, but there's always the odd occasion that the chain that I purchase from my company will break or a loop with separate if your necklace has been accidentally yanked too hard. If you cannot fix those little loops with some tools of your own, if you are willing to send it to me, I'm willing to fix it. With that said, this does not mean that if you've been overly rough with it and your bird nest is completely smooshed that I'll remake it, but I will do 'normal' fixings. That bird nest won't smoosh unless you run over it with a car!! :-)
On the subject of handmade items (by me), I would like to mention again that I am very 'picky' about my pieces, and like to have all my jump rings closed tightly, and wire ends tucked, etc.. Lots of times I redo and redo until something is just right. I make items as good for you as I would make for myself. That is quality control - controlled by me!
