These are 4 old bobbins (long thread spools) used in weaving fabric in an old textile mill. They are hand turned wood with metal bands at the larger end. Use your imagination and these redundant factory artifacts could be made into all kinds of interesting things, from handles to candleholders.
Each one is 8 5/8" (22 cm) long. They show the marks and wear of having been used but are in basically good condition (no splits or missing bits in the wood).
