Delivery: Shipping is via Royal Mail from my nearest village post office in central Scotland. Items listed in my shop are ready to ship unless otherwise noted.
Orders are shipped within 3-4 business days of cleared payment, unless previously agreed. My normal shipping days are Wednesday and Saturday but, if I can, I post between these days.
The shipping cost includes packaging, handling and the new Etsy shipping fees.
Orders to the UK are shipped 1st Class for smaller parcels and 2nd Class Recorded for larger orders over £50 in value. Everywhere else will go via standard airmail. Please be aware that tracking is not automatically included in standard airmail from the UK. If you would like recorded, signed for delivery, or insurance, please convo me and/or select the tracking option under shipping at checkout.
Customs fees / import duties are the responsibility of the buyer and are determined by the country you reside in.
If there is a significant difference, £2.50 or more, between the postage charged on your order and the actual postage when shipped, I will issue a refund for the difference.
Starting January 2017, UK buyers pay a maximum of £4.50 shipping per order, no matter how large it is.
Estimated Delivery Times: Delivery times are standard estimates. Please be aware that factors such as postal holidays, bad weather conditions, strikes, delays in customs, etc. are beyond my control. UK: 1-7 days Europe: 1-5 weeks North America: 2-6 weeks Rest of the World: 2-8 weeks
If your items have not arrived within these timescales, please contact me right away so that we may work together to resolve.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
Custom or personalized orders
Perishable products (like food or flowers)
Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Items on sale
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Additional return information
I want you to be happy with your purchase, so will work with you to fix any problems. If you want to see more pictures of an item prior to purchase this can be arranged.
Returns can be made for a refund or exchange, minus shipping costs, for up to 14 days after the purchase. Refunds/exchanges will only be processed once the original item has been returned undamaged and in saleable condition.
Refunds will be processed using the method of payment used in the original purchase.
It is up to the buyer to ship the items back well packaged and cover any postage costs for doing so. I strongly suggest you obtain proof of postage and tracking when returning an item. Until returned items are safely in my possession, responsibility for tracking them and any necessary claims with the post office if lost are the responsibility of the buyer.
Items returned from outside the EU must be clearly marked on the customs label as returned merchandise so as not to incur any customs fees / import duty on their way back. If this is not correctly noted on the customs form the item will be sent back to you by Royal Mail as we will decline the parcel and not pay the customs fee.
PDF patterns cannot be returned.
Please note when making a custom colourway request: I will retain ownership of any custom colourway recipe, and reserve the right to re-dye such colours and add them at any time to my regular line up of colours avilable for sale.
All items come from a smoke-free home. Please note that I do have cats and while I try to keep them out of my yarn, they do occasionally sneak in!
