NOTE: If you have ordered wood slices of any kind, when your package of wood arrives, please remove them immediately from all packaging and place in a single layer on cooking racks or something similar for good air flow in a well-ventilated area for safe keeping. We recommend the following: • Don’t stack the wood on top of each other • Don’t put it in direct sun light • Don’t put in front of a fan or other air source • Don’t leave in a dark damp area. Fresh cut wood dries from the center out, so as this occurs there will be some shrinkage and the bark can become unattached, and eventually fall off. Our "Natural" wood slices are just that natural, they will have different colors, dark and light spots, different hues, different thickness of bark, bark may or may not be attached, each piece is truly unique, we do not put any pesticides, sealers or any other type of materials on them. Mildew and pests can be attracted to the natural wood pieces. If you have chosen the natural wood finish this can be more likely.

We try very hard to see that your custom order comes to you the way you want it, we make your item exactly like you leave in your order notes. If you want something capitalized (some fonts are not legible in all caps) or a numerical date instead of written out, please leave that information in your order notes at checkout. If you don't leave anything in your order notes it will be made like the first picture in the listing, color and saying, unless it is a personlaized item then we will leave it blank. If you forget to leave your personalization in your order notes send us a conversation immediately so we can add the note to your order.

All of our items are made to order, once you select any available option it becomes a custom order. We do do not except returns or replacements (unless there is shipping damage or a misspelled words) on custom orders, so please be sure and choose the options you want.

Once your order is placed you will receive an email with your invoice and ship date clearly stated on the top of your invoice. This will be whatever our current processing time is, which only counts business days, Monday through Friday, so if we are at 5 days production time and you order on a Thursday, your item will be shipped on the next Thursday, this does not include the shipping time. We know that you are busy planning for that special occasion, and that sometimes you want your item right away, we understand, but you must send us a conversation or add the Rush Order Upgrade to your order to move your item up in the processing line. A note on your order will not work, we don't see those until we are in processing your item.

We put One Coat of MinWax Clear Polyurethane spray so that it makes very little change in the appearance of the wood. Any wood slice over 4" are cut with a chain saw, so when we lightly sand them, we are only sanding down any sharp edges, they will still have some of the characteristics of being cut with a chain saw. You can always add sealer yourself or add another coat of sealer, of your choice, when you receive your wood slices.
