The cable-swatch on this hat reminds me of the goo that covers portals to the upside-down in the Netflix show ‘Stranger Things’. So of course I had to name it ‘Demogorgon’! It is meant to be knit with small skeins of precious yarn; mine is knit with a gorgeous hand-spun which I got for my birthday. The pattern is modified from a Lynne Barr swatch called ‘laser cables’; I reworked it to be knit in the round and decreased. Lynne’s books are my favourite inspirational ‘stitchionaries’!
