'Beauregarde' on a gorgeous MCN sock yarn base, hand dyed by me in a pet and smoke free environment!
This is a superwash merino, cashmere and nylon blend, so not only is it machine washable but it's also lustrous and buttery soft. The nylon element gives this yarn strength which makes it hard wearing and ideal for all kinds of projects such as socks, shawls, scarves and other garments worn next to the skin.
Due to the nature of hand dyed yarn, no two skeins are the same, even though they may be dyed in small batches using the same colours and methods. Therefore, if you're making an item using more than one skein, you may wish to alternate skeins every few rows. Personally, I don't mind this type of variation as I feel it adds to the uniqueness of your finished piece!
This is a superwash yarn, but I recommend washing by hand using a mild detergent and lukewarm water, then reshape whilst damp before laying flat to dry. This will help to keep your finished item looking lovely for years to come and will also help prevent it from felting or shrinking.
Minimal colour bleeding may occur during the first few washes. This is perfectly normal and will not affect the vibrancy or quality of your yarn.
Every effort is taken to ensure colours are accurately represented, however, some colours may vary slightly from screen to screen / device to device.
If you'd like your skein wound into a cake so it's ready for you to use upon receipt, please add my cake winding service to your order before check out.
